Gathering Hosting Criteria

- Gathering-hosting cities (where SPBASA-member pipe bands reside) will be assigned on a rotation basis.
- Within each city, the hosting pipe band will be assigned on a rotation basis.
- Gatherings shall be scheduled at an 18-month interval.
- Until further notice, only pipe bands (or SPBASA branches) will host Gatherings. The host pipe bands may choose to delegate the actual organization of a Gathering to a third party (though remain responsible for the outcome of the event).
- SPBASA has a regulatory role by means of the Executive Committee and Association Representative.
