South American Instructors

Youth League pipe bands may optionally include South American Instructors to each corps's roster in accordance with the following:

Pipe band corps must first meet the respective minimum corps sizes in order to add instructors.
Maximum instructors allowed:
- 1 piper
- 1 snare drummer
Such members need to be explicitly listed as instructors in the corresponding rosters.
In the case of dual registration (instructor in one band, and non-instructor in another band), these pipers and drummers need to be registered in both their original band and in the band(s) in which they are instructors.
During competitions, Instructors may perform as Pipe Major, Drum Sergeant, or equivalent leadership roles.
