2021 AGM

On 13-Dec, SPBASA held it's 2021 Annual General Meeting, officially closing the year, but also closing a two-year election cycle.

The AGM started with an overview of the 2020-2021 accomplishments, listed as follows:

Agreement with Rhythm Monster
Massed Bands: Best Practices + scores + videos
Competition Catalog: Categories & Entities
Youth Leagues
Code of Conduct
Annual Roster Survey: 3rd and 4th year + new fields/reports
Facebook Live: 2020 + 2021
New PB Members: CHPB, SPScots, Latitude 33, LCPB, BHPB (Full Voting Members)
Revisions to our Constitution: Roster, AGM, definitions, Associated Members, Alliances
Relaunched G9 planning, survey, etc.
Back-office: migration to Google Drive, transferable email accounts, Google Meet.

The Current Board presented a proposed road-map of projects for 2022, summarized as follows:

Complete the Massed Bands scores (snare drumming, tenor drumming, bass drumming, pipes harmonies)
Create a centralized tool for storing competition results
Create Adult and Senior Leagues (as a continuation of the creation of the Youth League)
Work on a framework for Solo Competitions (as we have done for Gatherings and Pipe Band competitions)
Create and manage an after-the-fact feedback form for Gatherings (comparable to the form used for the G9)
