Association Representative

Non-performing person designated by the Association to ensure that all conditions are met an any given Association-sanctioned event. Every Association-sanctioned event must have at least one Association Representative present.

The Association Representative will be responsible for deciding any matter pertaining to the event that is Association responsibility (following of rules, conduct, etc.).

In particular, in the case of competitions, the Association Representative will

•  ensure the accuracy of score sheets and tie breaking procedures;

•  settle situations where rules lead to reasonable alternative interpretations (in which case his/her decision is binding) and report the issue to the Association’s Executive Committee as soon as possible.
