Drilling - Pipe Band

Pipe bands shall march in ranks (without playing) to the start line and halt. Upon the Band Marshall's instructions, the pipe band shall

• • start playing with two three-pace rolls

  • march into the competition arena in ranks upon the first beat of the two three-pace rolls

  • form a circle within the "Pipe Band Circle" as defined in Pipe Band Competition Arena.

  • the band shall face towards the inside of the circle.
