Alberto Oviedo

Learned to play the bagpipes in the early 2000s with Finlay MacDonald.

Joined his school band, Eagle School Pipe Band in 2005.

Participated with the band in the 3rd South American Pipe Band Gathering in Santiago (Chile) in 2007.

Continued playing solo and as a guest piper in Chilean pipe bands.

Founded Soul of Desert Pipe Band in Antofagasta in 2022 of which he is Pipe Major to date.

Joined Chilean Highlands Pipes & Drums as a piper in 2024.
